IMSA LMP3 race team. No. 17 Ligier JS P320.

LMP3 is where prototype racing gets serious: real downforce, endurance strategy and a direct path to LMP2. Crown's No. 17 Ligier races in IMSA as an arrive-and-drive seat or a Crown-run owner program.

The program

Two hours. Two drivers. One car to get right.

LMP3 cars are purpose-built prototypes from Ligier, Duqueine and Ginetta, powered by a Nissan V8. Crown made its IMSA endurance debut at Circuit of The Americas in May 2026: the No. 17 Ligier JS P320 qualified fifth overall, set a fastest race lap of 2:05.430 and was the quickest JS P320 of the weekend, with every pit stop inside IMSA's mandated windows.

The IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge adds four two-hour LMP3 races to the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, at Sebring, Circuit of The Americas, VIRginia International Raceway and Road America. It rewards what an arrive-and-drive program provides: a prepared car, disciplined pit work and a team that manages the race around its drivers.
