When the customer delivered this 1968 Shelby GT500 to our shop we did not know what to expect (read this blog post). It took a few weeks of disassembly and cataloguing all the parts, nuts and bolts, but we got the car stripped down to its body. During disassembly and sandblasting we found a lot of issues that needed to be corrected before we could make this customers Resto-mod dreams come to life. Here are some photos of the Ford Mustang’s current condition including some of the previous “work” that had been done to it prior to arriving at our facility. We will keep updating you as we work through getting this Shelby Mustang a fresh coat of paint.
