We continue the custom 1961 Willy’s Jeep Truck build with the custom chassis designed and built here at Crown Customs. Make sure to go back and catch up on this custom build up to this point here. We chose to build a custom chassis for this build so that we could tailor it exactly to what we wanted from the start instead of trying to modify a one size fits most type application. Our team of experienced fabricators came up with a chassis design that would allow for good suspension travel while retaining rigidity as well as being able to withstand anything you could throw at it. This Willy’s Jeep has been upgraded with Fox Racing Shocks and Method Wheels. Check back for another update with the engine, transmission and transfer case.
