Here is a picture of updates that have been performed recently. 4 brand new B.F. Goodrich tires, new interior, with the seats removed, and all new floormat, door panels, headliner, package tray under the dash, and they even did a recast on the original steering wheel. It looks and smells new. Also new on this is shock absorbers. And the most unique thing about this "61" is that it as the original 6 volt system, which is hard to find in this day and age. It has the 1192 c.c. engine, producing an efficient 34 horsepower, and is backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. It also comes with the original AM radio, bucket seats, and the coolness of an original Beetle. Doesn't get much better than this. This car has been loved by multiple generations of basic transportation seekers across the world, and this particular one is in excellent condition, with the upgrades, and the care it has had over its lifetime.
