Built to haul.

The build in detail.

Station wagons rarely get the restoration treatment reserved for muscle cars, but this 1964 Ford Country Sedan makes the case that they deserve it just as much. Long, white, and unmistakably a family hauler, it came to Crown for a build that kept every bit of that wagon character while making it genuinely nice to actually drive.

Under the hood, the original 390 cubic inch FE V8 came back rebuilt rather than replaced, keeping the numbers-matching heart of the car intact. A FiTech throttle body EFI system swapped out the old carburetor for modern reliability and easier starts, all without changing the look under that long white hood.

The rest of the car got the same respect. Fresh Wimbledon White paint, 15-inch Cragar mag-style wheels, and chrome trim and Country Sedan script refreshed throughout, so it looks exactly like a well-kept original rather than something over-restored. Vintage Air conditioning went in for actual comfort on Tucson afternoons, something the factory never offered.

Inside, a custom leather interior and an updated stereo with Bluetooth bring the cabin into daily use without disturbing the period-correct look. When it was finished, Crown gathered the shop around for the reveal, a room full of people watching a wagon nobody expected to turn heads do exactly that.
