The build in detail.

The 1963 Falcon Sprint was Ford’s answer to a question most people never asked. What if the compact economy car had a real V8 and a set of badges to back it up. It was never meant to be the fastest thing on the road, just proof that a small car could still have some spirit. This one came to Crown for a restoration that respected exactly what made it special in the first place, nothing added, nothing exaggerated.

Before anything got touched, the team verified the numbers. Decoding the casting code stamped into the engine block confirmed this was the correct, original engine for this specific car, not a replacement swapped in decades ago and forgotten about. Getting that answer right before the wrenches came out is the difference between a genuine restoration and an educated guess.

With the numbers confirmed, the V8 came back to correct factory specification, the underbody was refinished, and the exterior returned to its factory color with the complete original Sprint chrome package intact, badges included. Every piece of trim that made this car say Sprint instead of just Falcon stayed exactly where Ford put it.

Inside, a restored two-tone interior and a walnut steering wheel keep the cabin period-correct, while Vintage Air conditioning hides in plain sight for actual comfort on Tucson afternoons. Finished, delivered, and exactly the small car Ford should have built more of.
