“Radical Cup set to star at four INDYCAR events again next season”

November 7, 2023 – The Radical Cup North America series has released another high-caliber calendar, yet again featuring four NTT INDYCAR SERIES events. The series, which regularly draws 30-plus car fields, continues to see an influx of gentleman drivers and young talent that is only set to increase during 2024 thanks to a combination of high-profile events coupled with scenic, historic, and iconic venues.

“We are back with another amazing schedule,” explained Radical Motorsport’s Tom Drewer. “We’ll commence the year in sunny Florida at one of America’s most iconic sportscar venues, before racing four rounds with INDYCAR and wrapping up in California wine country.”

Following an official pre-season test with exclusive track time during PBOC’s popular Winterfest event on January 17, the series will return to Sebring International Raceway for round one, March 1-3, alongside fellow USAC-sanctioned series. The home of the famous 12-Hour last held a Radical Cup race in 2021 and offers the opportunity to conquer the same concrete runways as greats such as Fangio, Andretti, Kristensen, and McNish.

From there the series, featuring Radical’s highly popular SR3 and SR10 models, will head to what has become a fixture on the Cup calendar, the fan-friendly and picturesque Barber Motorsports Park, for the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix, April 26-28.

Teams will then follow the INDYCAR haulers north to scenic Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for the third race weekend of the season at Road America, June 6-9. Drivers and their families will soak up the atmosphere of one of INDYCAR’s largest crowds before a cross-country trek to the Grand Prix of Monterey at the famed Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca, June 21-23.

After tackling the Corkscrew in California, Radical Cup North America will join FEL Motorsport’s Radical Cup Canada series north of the border for their penultimate round on the Streets of Toronto with INDYCAR, July 19-21. The temporary circuit and the surrounding city were a favorite destination amongst 2023 competitors and offers yet another bucket-list experience for Radical racers.

A small hiatus through August will give time for teams and drivers to re-group, before heading back west for round six and the Night of Champions celebration at Sonoma Raceway, September 26-28.

Drewer added, “2024 is a mixture of favorite fixtures and new challenges. And again, our drivers will benefit from the exposure and the atmosphere of multiple INDYCAR events.”

A few additional changes for the 2024 season will reward veteran drivers, including the introduction of a minimum age of 35 years old for the Platinum class and its SR10 machinery, and a Gold Class within the Pro 1500 SR3 ranks to recognize drivers 35 and older.
